Chester

To the right is the current Town Hall

Pictured below is the first Town Hall for Chester. Built originally in 1793 as a meeting house it was sold to the town in 1847 and was used as a Town Hall until 1960. The building is still used as a community meeting space and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The photo below is of a small brick building in the center of Chester that was used as the Town Hall from 1960 to 1987.
